No, this is not an male hot bod appreciation post, sorry, you’ll just have to google Henry Cavill yourself.
The studs I’m talking about are dainty, simple earrings that have taken over my life/ears lately! It all started back in December, when Dorien from Luxedy came to Ghent for a day to treat us to a stocksale at Giftbox (read more about that here). I got this lovely Leaf and Studs set from Orelia and it got me back into the earring game.
For years statement earrings were all the rage and frankly, I grew tired of them, I just wanted simple earrings that could go from day to night to the next day and so on. It seems that the simple stud has made a comeback and I couldn’t be happier.
It even inspired me to get more ear piercings so now I have 2 in my left ear and 3 in the right. I’m also contemplating a helix and/or tragus piercing, but all in due time…
It all started with Luxedy, let’s continue there. I browsed the webshop for some more inspiration and it was clear that Orelia completely fits the bill for my jewellery wishes of the moment. Nothing over the top, very simple but with an edge: love.
Of course I was drawn to some rose gold earrings and in the end I got the Rose Gold Crystal Diamond Studs and these beautiful marble studs that no longer seem to be available now.
These bars from Pilgrim were on sale and I quickly added them to the shopping basket to join the other studs.
I’m very happy with these 3 pairs and have already wishlisted some more, yes, you can now create a Luxedy wishlist and it is awesome! Here are the ones I happily added to my, extensive, wish list:
Another webshop that has been covered on Beautywander before is Wander & Co (great minds love to wander, I guess!). Next to the interior gems, stationery treasures and childrenwear awesomeness, Liesbeth also sells some amazing accessories. Simple and sleek, totally up my alley. I was lucky enough to win a competition and among all the lovely stuff were some adorable heart studs from RabbitsFantasyWorld.
But of course… I’m already eyeing some others as well:
Right after I got my new piercings I went straight to I.Ma.Gi.N. (referred to as Imagin as of now…) to treat myself to a rose gold stud.
The designs of Imagin are lovely, they don’t look cheap but timeless and classy without breaking the bank.
I’m definitely going back for more to the 3 places mentioned above and I’d also love to get more acquainted with Diamanti Per Tutti. They also have a store Ghent, just like Imagin, but anyone can check out their gorgeous stuff online. Do take note: this is a step up on the budget ladder. A truly Belgian Brand that understands the power of understated bling. Their geometric designs are works of art and they occasionally have interesting collaborations.
What’s your jewellery obsession du jour?
P.S.: A big thank you to Dorien and Liesbeth from Luxedy and Wander & Co for the beautiful images of my wish listed items: thanks ladies!
