I discovered 3 products, that all happen to come in a tube, that work beautifully together for healthy looking skin, without the need for brushes, sponges, and lots of precious time! Continue reading to find out more.
First up is the primer: Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base in 04 Apricot. This is a multi-purpose product that you can use on its own or under your foundation.
On its own the coverage is too light for me so I use it as a primer. It’s illuminating without turning your face into a disco ball. I can find it online in 3 shades so the one I have must have been a limited edition… 01 Rose brightens all complexions, 02 Champagne corrects redness and 03 peach adds lustre to matte skin. They all sound useful to me! – €28,90 at Ici Paris XL or £26,50 at Selfridges
Since that alone isn’t quite enough for me, I throw Dior‘s Diorskin Nude BB Creme in 002 Fair into the mix. I think 001 Light might work even better for me, but the shade is okay.
I like to use this on its own but the addition of the Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base made it even better! This has more coverage, but it’s still a BB, so nothing too full or mask-like. I’ve used the Clarins first and then put the Dior on top but the best result has come from just mixing them together and simply applying them with my hands. Easy peasy! – €44,50 at Ici Paris XL or £33,00 at Selfridges
A day without concealer is a very good skin day but alas, those rarely happen for me. Not to worry, Clarins has a tube for that as well. Their Instant Concealer is a popular product and the praise it gets is well deserved.
I use 01 Yellow Beige to conceal any blemishes and this is one of the few concealers I can also use under my eyes. I usually use 2 separate concealers but this works for both purposes. It blends beautifully and is very long lasting. I also apply this with my fingers and quickly blend it with a sponge for the best result. – €25,50 at Ici Paris XL or £22,00 at Selfridges
These 3 make my skin look healthy and natural in just a few minutes without having to use lots of tools, I’m a fan!
Now I just need one of those Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors I’ve heard so much about: they also come in a tube and fit with the natural look as well. Another one for the wish list… I was browsing the Clarins range while writing this post and it’s such an underrated brand, don’t you agree? I’d love to try more of their products.
Thanks for stopping by!
